In this page, we invite the users to maneuver the selection of indicators and their weights. Based on the selection users can see district wise ranking and similarity clusters. This allows to analyze the district ranking and cluster construction from different developmental aspect and objective as different development programs may have different set of priorities. Traditionally, composite indicators are composed specific indicators with specific weights-values of which are decided via specific methods. However, assignment of specific weights to specific indicators of a composite indicators is a contentious issue.

Once the user selects the indicators and the weights of each indication, the system will automatically generate a cluster map of the similar districts (based on k-means method) and will show the ranking of each individual district. So, rather than using a fixed weight or fixed set of indicators, the user has the freedom to set the priority.

To change the degree to which any indicator will influence the composite indicator and the clusters of the districts, move the sliders of the indicator to the left (to decrease its influence) or to the right (to increase it). Weights of the sub indicators can be changed as well. Uncheck the boxes beside each (sub)indicator to exclude it from being considered while ranking/clustering the districts. You can click icon to open the sub indicator(s) for each corresponding base indicator. You can also hide the sub indicator(s) using them.
